I am new to Linux and wanted to install Fedora to educate myself. Through my searches on-line I have learned that it can be difficult to install Fedora on MAC's but it can be done. I just can't find the details on how to do it. I have tried the Live Media dvd, the network install dvd, and the full 32bit install dvd. The live media would not boot, just the select boot 1. 2. 3. thing with the keyboard unresponsive.
The other two seem to install correctly but will not boot. It seems like the mini doesn't see a bootable partition. It keeps trying to boot from the dvd. Without the dvd's I get a blinking folder with a question mark in it. Any help would be appreciated. |

Split above post from Mac mini (Macmini2,1) EFI boot 64 bit [SOLVED] and moved to Off the Wall. Not about Gentoo so it fits better here.

Um, don't you think asking on the Fedora forums would be a better course of action? I don't think there are that many people here running Fedora.
You might try with this article: http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/EFI
Obviously the EFI of the MacMini is the problem and you need to create some sort of partition that the EFI can read. _________________ Kali Ma
