Hi all. Returning newbie here. I installed Gentoo a LONG time ago, before a lot had changed.
I remember that one of the options for the install was to probe all of the devices on the motherboard and
bootstrap a custom OS to your box.
Can this still be done?
I'll be reading the handbook, and hope I can get some help soon.

Welcome back. Yes you can still do that.
I don't remember the 'probe all of the devices', as if it were somehow automatic and my memory goes back to the end of 2002 _________________ Regards,
