it compilled with consolekit:
Code: | [ebuild R ] sys-libs/pam-1.1.8-r2 USE="berkdb cracklib nls -audit -debug -nis (-selinux) {-test} -vim-syntax" ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)" 0 kB
[ebuild R ] sys-auth/pambase-20140313 USE="consolekit cracklib gnome-keyring sha512 -debug -minimal -mktemp -pam_krb5 -pam_ssh -passwdqc (-selinux) -systemd" 0 kB

syn0ptik ... bug 515230 perhaps ... try adding the following to package.mask it may allow portage to resolve the dependency.
/etc/portage/package.mask
HTH & best ... khay
EDIT: ignore that ... took a closer look at the screenshots provided ... those errors are simply due to pam.d/xdm having an 'optional' for pam_systemd.so ... so this isn't the cause of the issue. |

Installation of sys-fs/eudev over sys-fs/udev doesn't solve anything, it's only useful for 2-3 different use cases, they are use of sys-libs/musl, use of sys-libs/uclibc or USE="rule-generator" |
