it compilled with consolekit:
Code:
[ebuild   R    ] sys-libs/pam-1.1.8-r2  USE="berkdb cracklib nls -audit -debug -nis (-selinux) {-test} -vim-syntax" ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)" 0 kB
[ebuild   R    ] sys-auth/pambase-20140313  USE="consolekit cracklib gnome-keyring sha512 -debug -minimal -mktemp -pam_krb5 -pam_ssh -passwdqc (-selinux) -systemd" 0 kB

syn0ptik ... bug 515230 perhaps ... try adding the following to package.mask it may allow portage to resolve the dependency.

/etc/portage/package.mask
Code:
sys-apps/systemd

HTH & best ... khay

EDIT: ignore that ... took a closer look at the screenshots provided ... those errors are simply due to pam.d/xdm having an 'optional' for pam_systemd.so ... so this isn't the cause of the issue.

Don't know about your specifics, sorry, but try switching from udev to the agnostic eudev to stay away from pulling in SystemD stuff maybe...

Installation of sys-fs/eudev over sys-fs/udev doesn't solve anything, it's only useful for 2-3 different use cases, they are use of sys-libs/musl, use of sys-libs/uclibc or USE="rule-generator"
