Hi
I have a problem, so when I want to run the compiz using command:
The desktop doesn't work well, because it uses processor, not my graphic card. It's just very slow.
Log:
Code: |
przemek@Przemek-PC ~ $ fusion-icon
* Detected Session: Xfce Session
* Searching for installed applications...
* Using the GTK Interface
* Starting Compiz
... executing: compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp
libGL error: failed to load driver: i965
libGL error: Try again with LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose for more details.
|
How to fix it?
Thanks |

Rebuild mesa and ensure your USE flags & VIDEO_CARDS and do an eselect opengl to set your card. This may help too: http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Intel
I haven't ran Compiz in many years (although I may give it a go again now that I ditched Gnome) so my instructions may be a little off, but should point you in the right direction. |

make sure you have the dri sna udev xvmc use-flags enabled for xf86-video-intel
