|
|
Weird.
I rebooted my machine - first time in 4 months.
On the virtual console, I can log in fine.
On X, I can log in fine. But when I launch a terminal emulator, it doesn't work. Konsole loads but no prompt appears. xterm just won't load. Within emacs, M-x shell works, but not M-x term.
Tried different window managers. Same behavior.
Help me figure this out! _________________ Beetle B.

Solved - apparently I needed to upgrade udev after I had upgraded openrc - not sure why they didn't make it a dependency in the ebuild... _________________ Beetle B.
