Every time I boot my Raspberry Pi, I wind up having to:

Code:
chmod 777 /dev/vchiq

This is necessary to get omxplayer to work properly. Is there a way to have this done upon boot somehow?

The easiest way would be via /etc/conf.d/local, although I'm afraid the proper way leads via udev.

That's kinda what I was thinking, I'm not an expert on udev settings, but I would prefer to use it if there was a way.
