I know alsasound in init.d is to save/restore the volume info.
If I use pulseaudio, can I delete alsasound from the rc-list?
Or in other words, does pa use alsa to save volume info or have it's own way?
I think pa should have its own way, because pa has more functions on volume control than alsa (per app/dev volume).
but where does it save to? how does pa use it? I failed to find relative doc on web. |

don't think so, afiak, PA is a layer between alsa and the userspace program, disabling alsa will disable PA.
note that I'm not that sure I'm right. _________________ Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity and I'm not sure about the former - Albert Einstein |
