Does anyone use Nixnote on their Gentoo system? I usethe Evernote web client but I would love to have something that I dont need the web for. _________________ Gentoo and I have an On-Off relationship.... |

Why don't you give it a try? As this is a Java application, it should be fairly easy to test – assuming you have a working JVM installed. Just download the .jar and run it as normal user. Be sure to let us know about your experience. _________________ lxg.de – codebits and tech talk |

There's an ebuild in Bugzilla. It's not a very good ebuild as it just installs the precompiled executable, but it's much better to let Portage manage packaged whenever you can.

Currently Nixnote is in the gentoo-zh overlay as app-misc/nixnote : https://gpo.zugaina.org/app-misc/nixnote
Nixnote requires keyworking for ~amd64 and compiles and installs easily.
Nixnote connects with Evernote, edits notes, downloads and uploads notes.
Exactly as advertised.
