Are there no messages at all between

Code: Select all

*******************************************************
and

Code: Select all

* Messages for package sys-boot/grub-2.00-r1:
? I would expect some sort of detail. Also, since you're running a stable system (ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86"), do you explicitly want grub2?

Finally, just as an aside, your CFLAGS are a little strange. What's your actual CPU and what does

Code: Select all

cat /proc/cpuinfo
report?

- John
I can confirm that I have received between 0 and 499 National Security Letters.

Thanks for replay ...

This is a build for an USB live system. So multiple CPUs ... But this is not about my USE flags...

Do you need the complete log file?
