|I would get a new raid card 'Promise FastTrak SX4000'.
So, I found a driver as source-code for kernel-2.4.xx from 'http://majestic.lugh.de/~fs/promise/'.
But, I couldn't find any driver for kernel-2.6.
However, I found that kernel-2.6.x supports PDC20621 chipset which is used in SX4000.
Also I find a kernel option 'Promise SATA support'.
-- SCSI device support
-- SCSI low-level drivers
-- Serial ATA(SATA) suuport
-- Promise SATA support
Is this option support SX4000?
This driver support 'Promise S150 SX4' which is also use PDC20621.
The difference of 'S150 SX4' and 'SX4000' is 'Marvell PATA to SATA converter'.
So I think the 'Promise' use a same driver and BIOS for these devices in according to their website.
So, how about your thought? Is it works well?
Thanks for your help.
