After an update to 304.64 and xorg 1.13, X can no longer see my second monitor at all.

I have one connected with a DVI cable and another with a VGA, the VGA one goes dark after X startup. nvidia-settings says I only have one monitor.

Is there a way to force it to see my monitors?

If it worked with an earlier version of nvidia-drivers, I would just downgrade. Sometimes bugs come up and I've learned to just skip buggy versions altogether.

That's what I did ultimately. Unfortunately my card is not working at all with newer versions of the driver, and newer versions of XOrg depend on the newer driver. Well, perhaps it's time to upgrade the hardware...
