I'm going to guess 1 of two things. You updated Xorg or you updated radeon. The first thing to try is to rebuild your video drivers. You should do this every time you update x before you reboot. Use this command: emerge -av1 $(qlist -IC x11-drivers)
There have been a few threads about old drivers no longer being supported without kms, so if that affects you, you will need to enable it if the first option didn't work. _________________ First things first, but not necessarily in that order.
Apologies if I take a while to respond. I'm currently working on the dematerialization circuit for my blue box. |

@The Doctor, firstly thank you for your interest.
I recompiled my kernel after upgrading as written http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Radeon. Then I used emerge -av1 $(qlist -IC x11-drivers). My video card is ati hd6370m. After upgrading the system, I didnt understand what changed. |
