tp_smapi is the thinkpad system management driver. It is used mostly for battery management (setting charge thresholds, etc.)
My tp_smapi ebuild seems to be missing important files:
Code: | # qlist tp_smapi
/lib/modules/3.4.9-gentoo/extra/thinkpad_ec.ko
/lib/modules/3.4.9-gentoo/extra/tp_smapi.ko
/lib/modules/3.4.9-gentoo/extra/hdaps.ko
/usr/share/doc/tp_smapi-0.40-r1/README.bz2
/usr/share/doc/tp_smapi-0.40-r1/CHANGES.bz2
|
And yet, when I look for the missing components:
Code: |
# locate smapi | grep conf
/usr/portage/app-laptop/tp_smapi/files/tp_smapi-0.40-confd
# locate smapi | grep init
/usr/portage/app-laptop/tp_smapi/files/tp_smapi-0.40-initd |
And equery cannot tell me where these files came from:
Code: | # equery belongs tp_smapi-0.40-confd
* Searching for tp_smapi-0.40-confd ...
# equery belongs /usr/portage/app-laptop/tp_smapi/files/tp_smapi-0.40-confd
* Searching for /usr/portage/app-laptop/tp_smapi/files/tp_smapi-0.40-confd ... |
Are these just part of the ebuild and not merged? Do I have to put this stuff in there manually? |
