New to gentoo, but I think this is where I post this. Having an issue with emerge gentoo-sources during my install. This is right after I ran emerge --oneshot portage. Not sure why it is failing but here is the output:

The only thing I can think of that was really different between the two emerge commands was my make.conf. I added various USE flags, and being new, I might of done something silly. Let me know if I need to post any more information. Thanks! |

So I seemed to have more issues then just my problem with emerge. I don't know if I'll be able to post the make.conf, but if I can I will. I keep trying to log into the system using a livecd, and it continually crashes on me. I'll have to put this error on hold until I can resolve this new problem, and actually maintain a stable environment long enough to copy & paste. |
