I doubt it. The President blatantly lying to the people is quite different than some disgruntled transgender soldier leaking a tactical report database. |

They are already all over it. Tonight, NBC news coverage focused entirely on the torrid details of the affair, other affairs that might be going on, how he got caught, etc., etc., etc.
Not a word about why he was actually fired, so long after the facts were known. Not a thought about Benghazi or any political motives behind the act.
There are also indications they are going after GEN Allen as well (the Marine Corps 4-star who took Petraeus' place in Afghanistan, who has on occasion been less than sycophantic toward Obama). Look at all the 4-stars who have been recently fired: McCrystal, Ham, Petraeus, now potentially Allen. It's starting to look like a Stalinist purge. |

I want to know where the victims of this Stalinist purge should go to reveal the soft underbelly of the corrupt administration (if that is the case).
I think it's usually the intention of whistle-blowers to circumvent the wall of propaganda and show the 'real' story.
At what point does revealing the true story behind the propaganda become irresponsible? Sometimes, a person takes a vow not to reveal any military secrets and then goes "All-in" with their biographer who turns out to be a loose cannon. It seems to me that it is responsible for David Petraeus to resign without dumping a few tactical report databases. |

How do you know? Maybe there is. I can think of one. It would just be speculation though, like everything else. |
You seem to to be unable to handle reasoning under uncertainty. All things which are not absolutely certain are not equally uncertain. You're like a walking, talking bag of broken logic. | You frequently show a jumping-to-conclusions reasoning bias, whereby your initial probabilistic estimates and your subsequent revision of your hypotheses are frequently made on less evidence than that required by controls. |
That's a fair statement, except for the "less evidence than required by controls" part. I don't agree with it, but it's a logical, sensible thing to say, unlike mcgruff's apparently Twilight Zone -like thought processes. | Apropos jumping-to-conclusions: search for it.

Cute, except if mcgruff is the "control", your assertion falls apart. |

The sheeple got bored of Military details from the Middle East during the George Dubya years. If it isn't about Apple, Wall Street, "Occupy," or something happening on US soil the sheeple don't tend to care anymore. Especially if it means that paying attention might require them to then think and actually process data, like the very real possibility that their President is willfully letting his people be murdered. _________________

I think it is hilarious the percentage of OWSers likely to have voted for Obama. Oh, not because he was the lesser, but because he was going to do something for them. Bluster doesn't count. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

OWSers aren't likely to be on the side of "free money." They have degrees in Ancient Basket Weaving Theory and 6 figure student loans. They aren't likely to get an Obamaphone. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

Don't you remember, they were being pandered to with promises of "student loan forgiveness". Are you not aware of the "Obama Student Loan Forgiveness Program"? |

I didn't borrow much because I got scholarships and worked, but I paid it off aggressively, and was done by the time I'd been out of school for five years. It was actually a stupid thing to do, because at the low interest rate of the loan, back then I could have just put the money in a plain old savings account and made money. I just didn't like having it hanging over my head.
Today, few kids would work hard enough in school to get scholarships (or, heaven forbid, incur a military obligation of fours years of their precious, pampered lives), many don't even get Summer jobs, they borrow what it will take decades to pay off, study whatever pleases them rather than something they can get a job doing, and then they whine and want to be bailed out. I'm sorry, but kiss my ass. |

well, they learn from banks and car makers that fucking up and then demanding a bail out is working great and the best way to go. _________________ Study finds stunning lack of racial, gender, and economic diversity among middle-class white males

"Not releasing details" is pretty easy to explain, so why did Obama have such difficulty doing so? _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

Removing the names of specific terrorist groups from the description of the attack is entirely different from telling the American people it was just a spontaneous riot prompted by a YouTube video. |
