Hallo,

nachdem ich udev in Version 194 installiert habe verlangt udev nach devtmpfs im Kernel.. Dort habe ich auch die Option Automount devtmpfs aktiviert. Über
devtmpfs.mount=0|1 kann man das lt. Hilfetext überschreiben:

sieht dann bei mir so aus:

title Gentoo Linux 3.6.2-gentoo
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/kernel-genkernel-x86_64-3.6.2-gentoo real_root=/dev/sda8 devtmpfs.mount=0
initrd /boot/initramfs-genkernel-x86_64-3.6.2-gentoo


Leider mounted der Kernel nun meine root partition schon bevor der Filesystemcheck gelaufen ist, so daß mein Root Filesystem nicht mehr gecheckt werden kann.

Was habe ich da falsch verstanden?

Wieso deaktivierst du devtmpfs denn? Wie du schon geschrieben hast, verlangt udev danach.

Weil ich gerne die root Partition gecheckt haben möchte beim Systemstart.
Aber das Deaktivieren nützt nichts, deshalb meine Frage.

Also hat das Ganze gar nichts mit devtmpfs zu tun, sondern mit der neuen udev Version. Habe ich das richtig verstanden?

Welche Version hattest du denn vorher installiert? Schon mal Bugreports geblättert?
