My last "emerge -u world" was interrupted by the following error:
Does anyone have the same problem?
What are the consequences of ignoring this error?
Code:

<<<        dir /usr/doc/PDL-2.4.0/html/PDL/Opt
<<<        dir /usr/doc/PDL-2.4.0/html/PDL/IO

Just got the same error here. The problem if you ignore the error is that it reports two versions installed (on the same slot) which may lead to bugs.
Check that you don't have two versions installed :
Code:
etcat versions PDL
*  dev-perl/PDL :
        [   ] dev-perl/PDL-2.3.2-r1 (0)
        [   ] dev-perl/PDL-2.3.2-r2 (0)
        [   ] dev-perl/PDL-2.3.4 (0)
        [  I] dev-perl/PDL-2.4.0 (0)
        [  I] dev-perl/PDL-2.4.0-r1 (0)

If you're like me, unmerge the old one :
Code:
emerge -C dev-perl/PDL-2.4.0

Worked for me.
-K

Code:
root@xentric 46C xentric $ etcat versions PDL
[ Results for search key : PDL ]
[ Applications found : 1 ]

*  dev-perl/PDL :
        [   ] dev-perl/PDL-2.3.2-r1 (0)
        [   ] dev-perl/PDL-2.3.2-r2 (0)
        [   ] dev-perl/PDL-2.3.4 (0)
        [   ] dev-perl/PDL-2.4.0 (0)
        [  I] dev-perl/PDL-2.4.0-r1 (0)

No problemo :D
Thanks!
