Hey Guys,
I just did a rebuild of one of my Gentoo systems from scratch, and aside from a few problems I managed to correct, I'm stumped at this one.
Code: | login as: crimjob
This is \n.\O (\s \m \r) \t
Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
Password:
|
/etc/issue contains the same, but I'm pretty sure it should look something like "This is hostname.iso-domain (kernel arch version) HH:MM:SS"
Anyone have any ideas what I might have messed up? _________________ "Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and I don't live to be, but before you start pointing fingers... make sure your hands are clean." ~Bob Marley

Haha well don't I feel silly. Of course I wasn't using that before, that's why I didn't notice it. I just could have sworn the first boot after livecd said it as well, but now that I've restarted, tty0 actually shows the correct information, it's just SSH sessions that show it incorrectly (or I guess correctly depending on my settings).
