yes, if you looked you should have seen stalled screen but disk activity. [rant] before kms we could almost count on a screen until we started X no matter how many odd choices we might make - default bios and default vga mode - then we fooled with default graphics - next we will depart from default bios for uefi - next M$ and computer makers will lock us out of new machines with tpm and digitally signed os's. no idea what you're saying but sounds cool
Unfortunately, I've came across another problem and that is the r8169 and the RTL8111/8168B PCI gentoo problem. But I think I should post that in networking. |

I'll be there in a sec. I'm gonna play around with internet solutions to see if they work first.
EDIT: fixed it. i had to download r8168 from the internet in chroot then cp the extracted directory into the drivers/net place then reboot then ./autorun it. |
