Hey guys, sorry if this has already been covered, but I can't seem to find anything.
I have my system bell compiled in the kernel, and it can be loaded via 'modprobe pcspkr' but I am unable to adjust the volume settings through alsamixer, and I am also unable to hear a beep using 'echo -e "\a"'
I would honestly like to replace the system bell with xkbbell, as I've got it using xbelld to play a different sound, but I have no idea how to accomplish completely replacing the pcspkr module and having system beeps use xkbbell.
Can anyone offer assistance with this? _________________ Roll Tide! |
