Hi!

I want to load some modules only on an specific runlevel.

So i've configured /etc/conf.d/modules ...
Quote:
modules="thinkpad_acpi snd_hda_intel"

...and /etc/init.d/modules is only on runlevel "default"

Why the modules are loaded on runlevel "terminal" (custom) too?

seVes,

There are at least three module loading mechanisms.

The kernel can load modules
udev can load modules
you can list them in /etc/conf.d/modules

I suspect its udev or the kernel doing the loading and they are loaded before /etc/conf.d/modules is consulted
