Hi Forum,

I am constantly installing new software on my Gentoo-laptop, and some of the latest emerges have pulled in autoconf. However, when that is emerged, it crashes. I am posting the log here, I hope that you can help me:

wgetpaste the entire log and paste back emerge --info

If you don't already have wgetpaste installed emerge app-text/wgetpaste

Since the log might be quite large it's best to just return the link from:
Code:
wgetpaste /var/tmp/portage/sys-devel/autoconf-2.69/work/autoconf-2.69/config.log

You can emerge --info and paste the output in the thread :wink:

I read through the dump (after I wgetpasted it) and saw something about a gnu macropreprocessor (didn't even know there was one:-)), I emerged the new version and now autoconf works fine. Thanks a lot for the idea.
