Salve a tutti!
Rieccomi, dopo tanto tempo, da oltremanica, di nuovo con una workstation decente.
Sto cercando di far funzionare la ATI (o AMD che dir si voglia) Firepro M7740 con Gentoo, ma con scarsi risultati.
I driver "radeon" sembrano far partire X (anche senza xorg.conf) ed a piena risoluzione, ma con qualche problema con la riproduzione di video (MPlayer dice: "It seems there is no Xvideo support for your video card available.") e, senza Xvideo, non riproduce a pieno schermo, per non parlare della qualit.
Gli "fglrx" non funzionano per nulla, ecco il log di X:

Qualuno potrebbe aiutarmi a far funzionare o il video con gli opensource od i proprietari?
P.s. Ovviamente, i driver open li ho provati con DRM e i proprietari senza (a dir il vero anche con, ma ovviamente non hanno funzionato).
