Fluxbox wont start because I havent got init/keys/menu in my .flubox dir.
I cant find the main directory to copy them!
They arent in /usr/share/fluxbox, even nls is empty!
am I stupid or what?

I have found them in both the .fluxbox dir and the /usr/share/fluxbox dir. The /usr/share/fluxbox dir contains global configurations and the .fluxbox contains user specific. I would try re-emerging it. It's a small package and if it's not setup when you are done you could file a bug report because it should be set up. In short, you're not stupid, but the ebuild might be. :)

Just emerged fluxbox today on a new install and I see that the keys file still seems to be missing. I have a generic standard fluxbox keyfile up at
http://home.nyc.rr.com/computertaijutsu/fluxbox.html#default

I mentioned it on the gentoo-user mailing list, but received no reply. Should I file a bug report?
Or is this something that's only happened to a few people. (I also had the commonbox file but no keys file)

Kyle, if you see this, should it have been posted on bugs?

Thanks

Scott

My emerge of fluxbox created a keys file, but it was empty (didn't keep fluxbox from working). So I suppose you could just do a 'touch ~/.fluxbox/keys' to fix that. I'm not sure what the deal with the others is, but you could always try running fluxconf (x11-misc/fluxconf) to create your init file.
