Hello. I need some help here.

I'm working on a lenovo x220 tablet. It's a laptop that can be converted to a tablet by lid rotation. I would like trackpoint to be disabled while in tablet mode, because otherwise random fluctuations of lid move trackpoint around, and it's hard to write with the pen.

Moving into and out of tablet mode can be detected by acpi event. Disabling trackpoint from within user session is easy:
Code:

xinput set-int-prop 15 132 8 0

But I cannot figure out a way to connect these together... running
Code:
su ${user} -c "DISPLAY=:0 XAUTHORITY=/home/${user}/.Xauthority xinput set-int-prop 15 132 8 0"

as root on acpi events does not work.
