Hi everyone,

since recently I have problems starting Bluetooth under Gnome 3.

After activating it says on syslog:
Code:
Jul  7 15:07:44 HOSTNAME dbus[2138]: [system] Activating service name='org.bluez' (using servicehelper)
Jul  7 15:07:44 HOSTNAME dbus[2138]: [system] Activated service 'org.bluez' failed: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 1

hciconfig tells us the device is found by the kernel (mac address is obscured only in this post)
Code:
hci0:   Type: BR/EDR  Bus: USB
BD Address: AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF  ACL MTU: 1021:8  SCO MTU: 64:1
   DOWN
   RX bytes:467 acl:0 sco:0 events:18 errors:0
   TX bytes:317 acl:0 sco:0 commands:18 errors:0

Apparently dbus fails to launch the service helper, but why?
Does anyone know a bugfix or how I can debug it?? If you need more info just say what (eg. like kernel .config, /etc/dbus-1/system.d/bluetooth.conf or emerge --info).

There have been changes recently in how the daemon gets run - see the most recent ebuild (IIRC, committed today).
