Hello,
I am looking for something like xfce4-mailwatch as a gnome panel applet.
Is there something like that?
Thanks!

mail-client/mail-notification: A GNOME trayicon which checks for email. Supports mbox, MH, Maildir, IMAP, Sylpheed, POP3, Gmail and Evolution. Authenticates via apop, ssl, sasl. _________________ www.gentoo.org.au || #gentoo-au |

i have problems with mail-notification only showing yahoo, and hotmail... it does not pull the yahoo email correctly.... regardless i need pop/imap for gmail. i have seen this program compiled under other distributions supporting these, but i still would prefer xfce4-mailwatch ported to gnome. mail-notification opens evolution regardless of gnome knowing that thunderbird is to be the default.
edit sorry for digging up old threads.... moar edits
edit /etc/portage/package.use to include
Code: |
mail-client/mail-notification gmail pop imap
