I've tried
Code:
perl-cleaner --all

and
Code:
revdep-rebuild

What should I do to resolve this? I believe this is also required for installing gnome, so I will need it either way, right?

Thanks in advance!

Update, also tried rebuilding world and compiler.

Code:
emerge -av1 binutils gcc glibc

Code:
emerge -e world

Found out, that the same error occurs with some other perl ebuilds.
e.g. dev-perl/File-BaseDir-0.30.0
