When I get an email containing images, I can view the images in Claws Mail using the image buttons to the right of the message pane. But how do I save individual images?

When in message few (where you can see text and attachments at the same time), you can save the image via rightclicking on it and clicking "Save Image" ;)

Another option would be to click on the icon of the particular Image on the component view on the right and chose "Save as"...

I love how claws-mail doesn't hide the fact that an email consists of seperate components from the user but instead embraces that concept... It really is the best mail client around...

I should have thought of that.

I like it more than Thunderbird in large part because it doesn't have Thunderbird's cruft.

Would you happen to know how I can get Claws to request delivery and read receipts? "Request return receipt" doesn't seem to do anything.

Strange. This seemed to work allright for me before. Just check the box under "Options" in the compose window. You should get your receipt in a seperate mail. Of course the receiver side is not forced to send one, so maybe when you tried, they chose not to... for whatever reason.

I just tested it by sending a mail to myself on another account and it seemed to work fine.

Mine is the same except I have ipv6 - but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

I just opened Thunderbird and I see that it has a separate delivery status notification option. That's what I'm after. It seems that claws-mail doesn't have this feature, which could be a deal breaker for me.
