This picture can show you what I'm talking about.

I did:
emerge qt
emerge kdelibs
emerge kdeartwork ( this to get back the ".NET" style )

Now my "mc" application looks like after some nuclear war :-)

QT has been updated to version 3.0.5 you need to recompile everything that depends on it or all your widgets will be messed... at least thats what I read the the announcements forum.

WTF...

I think it messed up your konsole fonts (at least that's the only correlation I can think of QT and a console program)

Is there a script somewhere that will list either the first level and/or all dependencies?

Latest qpkg (in gentoolkit package) can to this:
Code:
qpkg -q qt


will show all depndencies on qt.

Which font are you using for konsole :?:

Right click konsole | settings | font

Try changing it.

Right click konsole | settings | font

I shall try that! Except that's sort of the "reverse" dependency that I was thinking of...
