Hi,
I'm using fluxbox with thunar as a filemanager.
Mounting and using USB-sticks as a user works fine, but i receive error messages like the following when unmounting a usb device:
Code: | Error detaching: helper exited with exit code 1: Detaching device /dev/sdh
USB device: /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb2/2-1/2-1.6/2-1.6.1/2-1.6.1.3)
SYNCHRONIZE CACHE: OK
STOP UNIT: FAILED: No such file or directory |
This problem occurs on my newly installed office pc, gentoo on my macbook and gentoo on my home desktop pc.
all have very similar setups (gentoo, fluxbox as a window manager, thunar as a filemanager).
My macbook and desktop PC have this problem for quite some time, but it never bothered me.
Anyway, at work more often usb-devices are used and i would like to get rid of that error.
thunar is started as a daemon when .fluxbox/startup is executed:
Can anyone help? Which configs would help in solving this problem?
Thanks |
