PostPosted: Sun Apr 22, 2012 12:30 pm    Post subject: [Solved] Header error when emerging perl Reply with quote

Hello.

When I try to emerge perl, the compilation fails with this error :
Code:
/usr/include/_ansi.h:16:24: fatal error: sys/config.h: No such file or directory

As a matter of fact, /usr/include/sys does not contain config.h. I re-emerged gcc, glibc, glib, linux-headers, os-headers, include, and a few other packages but none of them contains the /usr/include/sys/config.h required by /usr/include/_ansi.h.

Does anyone know how to solve this ?
Thanks in advance.

Code:
# equery b _ansi.h
[ Searching for file(s) _ansi.h in *... ]

Can I safely remove it ?

EDIT : Okay, I removed it, along with ieeefp.h and the compilation seems to work. Thanks a lot !
