Hi all, so trying to get my communication controller up and running, but can't find MEI or INTEL_MEI in the kernel config menu, when i search for it it says:
│ Symbol: INTEL_MEI_ME [=n]
│ Type : tristate
│ Prompt: ME Enabled Intel Chipsets
│ Location:
│ -> Device Drivers
│ (1) -> Misc devices
│ Defined at drivers/misc/mei/Kconfig:12
│ Depends on: X86 [=y] && PCI [=y] && WATCHDOG_CORE [=y]
│ Selects: INTEL_MEI [=n]
│
│
│ Symbol: INTEL_MEI [=n]
│ Type : tristate
│ Prompt: Intel Management Engine Interface
│ Location:
│ -> Device Drivers
│ (2) -> Misc devices
│ Defined at drivers/misc/mei/Kconfig:1
│ Depends on: X86 [=y] && PCI [=y] && WATCHDOG_CORE [=y]
│ Selected by: INTEL_MEI_ME [=n] && X86 [=y] && PCI [=y] && WATCHDOG_CORE [=y]
but can't find it there or elsewhere.
so anyone knows if there is something i need to disable or enable to find it ? _________________ Yeah, Windows is great... I used it to download Linux! |
