Hi,
Since I switched from ati proprietary drivers to free drivers (radeon), I have some strange graphic bugs with mplayer :
-Fullscreen isn't centered (I still can see the bottom of Desktop
-Some .avi videos show pixels everywhere for like 5 seconds everytime I skip forward/backward using ← or → keys
I thought it was a codec problem but xine and totem don't show any problem like this
I also tried editing my ~/.mplayer/config and adding vo=x11, tried also with gl and xv...can't see any difference.I wonder if this file is really used by mplayer...
Any idea how to fix this ?
Do you see something missing in useflags ?

Another question maybe out of the topic, maybe related to this : is it normal glxgears shows a different FPS in user and root ?
User :
Quote: | $ glxgears
Running synchronized to the vertical refresh. The framerate should be
approximately the same as the monitor refresh rate.
302 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.393 FPS |
Root
Quote: | # glxgears
ATTENTION: default value of option vblank_mode overridden by environment.

8316 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1663.105 FPS |
