I want to make gvim maximized at startup. I've searched google and already tried these two methods, both failed.
put
Code:
au GUIEnter * simalt ~x
in .vimrc.
or put
Code:
set lines=999 columns=999
in .vimrc, but that gave me a very very big window, what I want is an exactly maximized gvim.

I am using Xfce, the keyboard shortcut for maximizing a window is Alt + F10, so what's the solution?
