Good day,

I have installed xorg and nvidia drivers. When i type X -config /root/xorg.conf.new, it doesn't start.

Code:
# grep EE /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(WW) warning, (EE) error, (NI) not implemented, (??) unknown.
[  1055.562] (EE) Failed to load module "dri" (module does not exist, 0)
[  1055.563] (II) Loading extension MIT-SCREEN-SAVER
[  1055.564] (EE) Failed to load module "dri2" (module does not exist, 0)
[  1057.668] (EE) NVIDIA: Failed to load module "dri2" (module does not exist, 0)

# cat /root/xorg.conf.new
http://pastebin.com/DJKUfmRe

I have read this instruction http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/nvidia-guide.xml.

How can I fix it?

Thank you.

That's not the actual error, Nvidia doesn't need dri2. Post the full /var/log/Xorg.0.log but not directly here, use pastebin.

But before that, replace your xorg.conf with just this, nothing else:
Code:
Section "Device"
    Identifier  "Nvidia Card"
    Driver      "nvidia"
EndSection

Berfore I had twice Section "Device". Now I have this xorg.conf and this Xorg.0.log.

I told you to use *only* what I wrote in xorg.conf

Anyway...
Code:
[  2519.411] Server terminated successfully (0). Closing log file.

Your X server works fine, despite of the messy outdated xorg.conf

Same thing, your X works fine. Install what you want to run in it and it'll work.
