Gentoo LiveDVD

[l2ulinux]

I am new to Gentoo and I want to know if are how hard is it to install from the liveDVD? I would love to start with a 16 gig ush thumb drive. AAny and all help needed.

A teacher once told me the only dumb question is the the first question not asked.

Welcome to the forums

If you follow the official handbook closely and use your brain in the process, you shouldn't have any trouble, if you're not having very exotic hardware. Just make sure you both read and understand what you are doing.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask.

oh, and for your teacher, there are a lot of stupid questions, imho, there are more questions stupid than not.
