this morning i had the router restarted 4 times since boot up by the machine.
yesterday evening net connection was ok but it took 25 mins to complete
--sync.
my net connection is 3 Mbps
the sync usually takes 5 mins max.

As for the longer sync time, there was an issue in our rsync setup that required us to update the complete snapshot, this looks for rsync like different files, thus everything had to be redownloaded. Your next sync should be over as quickly as the ones before.
