Hi,

So I have an acer 1825PTZ netbook which has a cando dual touch touchscreen and a synaptics ps/2 trackpad. I have the kernel configured what I think is correctly, and they both work, apart from a wierd problem that occurs after boot.

When I first start X I can move themouse pointer with the touchpad, but I can't actually click, either by tapping or with the physical button until I have first touched the touchscreen. After that everything works fine until I next restart X or resume from hibernation.

I have no idea even where to start tracking down this issue. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

This might be an X bug. Try reporting to the gentoo bugzilla and/or the freedesktop bugzilla.
