Hey Everyone,

I have hit a minor roadblock compiling gnome-control-center
Seems it is having issues finding country name and language?:

'xkl_get_country_name' undeclared
'xkl_get_language_name' undeclared

This is a fresh build and I am curious where I am missing this particular info

well, "xkl_" is referring to a function in the x11-libs/libxklavier installation. try re-emerging or possibly upgrading it?

# emerge -pv libxklavier

thanks for the response,
That was the first think I did when I got this error. I tracked it down to libxklavier as a possible issue.
I have re-emerged the package with no luck on the compile, still seems to be failing in the same spot.
I will also note that I have completed a revdep-rebuild as well. (no fix)

here is a link to the full gnome-region-panel-xkbltadd.c
http://gnome-control-center.sourcearchive.com/documentation/1:2.91.91-3/gnome-region-panel-xkbltadd_8c_source.html

Here is where it is failing from my understanding:

Code:

     gchar *country_desc =
          xkl_create_description_from_list (item, subitem,
                                    XCI_PROP_COUNTRY_LIST,
                                    xkl_get_country_name);
      gchar *language_desc =
          xkl_create_description_from_list (item, subitem,
                                    XCI_PROP_LANGUAGE_LIST,
                                    xkl_get_language_name);

I suppose it is possible to just modify the above to statically assign 'country_desc' but I would much rather know why this is failing.
(If manually editing this is not a problem, how would that be done best? ie: gchar *country_desc = 'XXXX')

For the time being I have put this into package.provided to allow me to skip over it in my emerge until I can get this fixed.
