What is best way to transfer the theme from the gentoo live dvd to the system installed gentoo ?

I want the icons and bootspash etc.

You don't need to - it's all in portage.

e.g.

Thanks, I'll start working on it.

Now I hope the mods don't mind me asking two questions on the same thread, but when I re-installed Gentoo I choose the "kdebase-meta", and now I don't have the audio control on the panel. Using "alsamix" works on the terminal.

How can add the audio control function to kde ?

EDIT: I searched for the audio control, issues are more related to the audio control (already installed) not being able to work.

That would be kde-base/kmix. Emerge that.
