Going right back to kde-1.4 I used to be able to copy things in konsole merely by highlighting
a selection and then dragging it a bit with the mouse. It would then be copied down to bottom of the current text on the konsole window. This in fact is the main reason that I started using kde
over 10 years ago. It is incredibly more efficient than going through the copy and paste menus
for this simple and common task. This feature does not work in my kde-4.7.
Moreover I can not even find the old "configure konsole" feature which I used to use to enable it.
Can anyone tell me what has happened to these features, or have they been discarded?

Added in edit: I have now found the "configure konsole" feature, but it does not appear
to allow me to use the neat "copy and paste" feature mentioned above.

Since KDE SC 4.7, the 'Ctrl' key is required for draging selected text.

Many thanks to adaptee for getting me back one of my favourite KDE features.
