Some strange little things happen when I boot gentoo up...
I'm still able to run gentoo fine, but these things piss me off so I want to know how to fix them..
1)
After * Caching service dependicies....
I get the following 2 lines:
: command not found
: command not found
After * Cleaning /var/lock, /var/run...
I see
: command not FoundÇkd
This next one has been a pain in the ass for such a long time now:
After *Bringing lo up
I see
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/ds.o: init_module Operation not permitted
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/ds.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/ds.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/ds.o: insmod ds failed
I have not been able to get my orinoco gold 802.11b card working
After that I see
*Starting pcmcia....
start-stop-daemon: stat /sbin/cardmgr: No such file or directory
Any ideas how to 1) Fix all those things while it boots
and 2) get my orinoco working?
