Hey Guys,
I think I broke my GCC
I followed the Gentoo GCC upgrade guide and things were going well. I was able to update my system, but upon starting revdep-rebuild, everything went down hill. I was unable to build most of the packages revdep-rebuild wanted due to GCC errors. I've even tried re-emerging GCC but I'm getting errors with that.
Where's the best place to start troubleshooting this? What can I do to revive my GCC?
Code: |

I did manage to get one config.log for mpfr

Thanks for the quick response!
Code: | Zeppelin ~ # gcc-config -l

I briefly attempted profile 1 but was warned of a bug. _________________ "Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and I don't live to be, but before you start pointing fingers... make sure your hands are clean." ~Bob Marley |

Now I'm starting to get worried. Hacking together some other suggestions on the net I came up with a bit of a re-install of GCC, but to no avail, I still get the same errors when trying to emerge.
Code: | Zeppelin / # mkdir /gccfix
Zeppelin / # cd /gccfix/
Zeppelin gccfix # wget http://gentoo.mirrors.tds.net/gentoo/releases/x86/current-stage3/stage3-i686-20111101.tar.bz2
...
Zeppelin gccfix # tar -xvjpf stage3-i686-20111101.tar.bz2
...
Zeppelin gccfix # chroot /gccfix
Zeppelin / # quickpkg sys-devel/gcc

exit
Zeppelin gccfix # mkdir /usr/portage/packages
Zeppelin gccfix # mv /gccfix/usr/portage/packages/* /usr/portage/packages/
