Most WMs (xfce4 in this case) have the very nice ability to reposition windows by holding alt and dragging the window. However, this gets in the way of some games. Is there any way to selectively deactivate this functionality for just the game or program (WINE, for instance)? |

I don't remember much of xfce4, I only tried it briefly, but I think it might have been the same key for KDE when I installed it about a year ago. It was not a good idea to me either, so I simply switched the key for moving the windows to the meta-key, and to this day it has not ever come into my way and I do a lot of gaming, too!
It is very likely there is a way of doing exactly what you ask as well, but I can't say for sure. Still, I thought I'd mention this method of approach as an alternative. _________________ Kind Regards,
