Hi, I copied my conky config from my other linux installation (linux mint) but when I try to run it :
Code:
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 2: no such configuration: 'font'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 3: no such configuration: 'xftfont'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 4: no such configuration: 'use_xft'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 5: no such configuration: 'xftalpha'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 8: no such configuration: 'own_window'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 9: no such configuration: 'own_window_type'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 10: no such configuration: 'own_window_transparent'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 11: no such configuration: 'own_window_hints'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 12: no such configuration: 'double_buffer'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 13: no such configuration: 'draw_shades'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 14: no such configuration: 'draw_outline'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 15: no such configuration: 'draw_borders'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 16: no such configuration: 'draw_graph_borders'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 17: no such configuration: 'minimum_size'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 18: no such configuration: 'maximum_width'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 22: no such configuration: 'alignment'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 23: no such configuration: 'gap_x'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 24: no such configuration: 'gap_y'
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 27: no such configuration: 'override_utf8_locale'
Conky: use_spacer should have an argument of left, right, or none.  'yes' seems to be some form of 'true', so defaulting to right.
Conky: /etc/conky/conky.conf: 30: no such configuration: 'out_to_x'
Conky: no output_methods have been selected; exiting

It was working back in mint
Do I need some libraries for it?

Make sure "X" is enabled in your USE flags

possible USE flags are:
Code:
IUSE="apcupsd audacious curl debug eve hddtemp imlib iostats lua lua-cairo lua-imlib math moc mpd nano-syntax ncurses nvidia +portmon rss thinkpad truetype vim-syntax weather-metar weather-xoap wifi X xmms2"

Just paste the output of "emerge -pv conky"

None of the "no such configuration" complaints will go away until you recompile with the "X" USE flag turned on.

post the output of "emerge --info"
