I am trying to set up a PDC so i can connect all my PCs to it, although I have followed the wiki to the letter, I cannot get Windows 7 to connect, keeps giving me some error about the joint operation failed.

Has anyone got Gentoo, Samba and Windows 7 all connect through a Linux PDC?

Here is my smb.conf

#a nice replacement for above line:
#add machine script      = /usr/sbin/useradd -d /dev/null -g 'machines' -c 'Machine Account' -s /bin/false '%u'
#you need to add a "machines" group to use it
passwd program           = /usr/bin/passwd %u
passwd chat              = "*New password:*" %n\r "*New password (again):*" %n\r "*Password changed*"

  path       = /var/lib/samba/netlogon
  guest ok   = no

  browseable          = no
  valid users         = %S

Is there anything wrong with that smb.conf? If so what needs to be changed?

The error windows gives me is

win7 pdc error
