I am reading a couple of font guides and am having trouble configuring them. My firefox browser has VERY small font and its un-readable. I i notice i do not have a fonts.conf file in my root? nano -w ~/.fonts.conf brings up a blank document? So im kind of stuck?

Any Ideas?

already looked at:

Code:

eselect fontconfig list
eselect fontconfig enable <number>

?

NB: you can actually set default font sizes within Firefox itself, in case you haven't noticed that one already. Doing "CTRL +" increases size as well, but is of course not permanent

You can change font size of your gtk apps in the ~/.gtkrc-2.0 file.
Is there ny particular reason for running firefox as root?
