same .conkyrc that worked on my old machine.

this one is reporting huge usage on tun0 when there should be very little.
reporting around 924kB/s when i should only get a max of about 200 if i'm lucky.

and this is when eth0(which carries tun0) is reporting 2.5kB/s

applicable .conkyrc section:

Code:
${if_up tun0}${color #98c2c7}tun0: ${color #98c2c7}DOWN: ${color #ffffff}${downspeed tun0}/s ${goto 190}${color #98c2c7}UP: ${color #ffffff}${upspeed tun0}/s
${color #98c2c7}${downspeedgraph tun0 25,150 78af78 a3a3a3} ${goto 190}${color #98c2c7}${upspeedgraph tun0 25,150 78af78 a3a3a3} ${endif}

i tried to take a look at tun0 using nethogs, but it doesn't show anything at all

edit: the graph/bandwidth usage IS going up and down, and by quick estimation it looks like it's 1000 times too high or so (MiB reported instead of KiB). any advice on how to debug, or what conky uses to measure this throughput would be useful, thanks!

thanks

I'm having the same problem. Seems like there's two threads on this; the other one is conky downspeedf wrong reading.
